Wicked M's Photography
Michelle Cobble Owens
I have been photographing in Alaska for the past 20+ years, the last seven in which I have been living full-time in Seward. Photography was first introduced to me as a child by my aunt and uncle, and my passion has only grown since then. I am incredibly grateful for the places my camera has taken me, the adventures I have had, and the people I have met in the process. The dream to have a photography gallery has been realized and I am immensely proud of the space I have created in the Historic Brown & Hawkins Building in Seward, Alaska.

Babe in the Woods
Deep Creek, Alaska
On a quest for eagles we happened along a mama and baby moose. Babe surprised us when she stood up from her nap. Still to young to be taller than the average Alaskan Fireweed, we could only get peaks of her.
Tranquility
Chulitna River - Denali, Alaska
Driving home from a long weekend in Denali, shooting with friends, I drove past the Chulitna and said "Wow, how tranquile!" But man I was tired and wanted to get home, I drove a few miles arguing with myself about whether or not to turn around, Obviously, I did and the picture named itself.
Gladiators
Haines, Alaska
During Eagle Fest in Haines, there were two eagles that were determined to fight each other over a tiny piece of salmon rather than hunt for their own. It was a small image in the midst of a greater scene, but the poignant moment caught my attention. It is one of my favorite photos I have taken.
